Bish AI Assistant: AI email agent built on n8n
A chat-driven AI assistant that finds contacts, writes and sends client emails in seconds, replacing a 15-minute manual workflow.
The problem
A client asks for a reschedule, a follow-up, or a quick update. The manual version of that task: open the sheets, search contact details, write the email, send it. Around 15 minutes per email, multiplied across a team, every day.
The system
I built a chat-driven AI assistant on n8n:
- Chat trigger: the team member types a plain instruction like "send Bish today's AI news update".
- AI Agent node: powered by a Groq chat model with simple memory, it understands intent, pulls the right recipient from the customer database, and drafts the email.
- sendEmail tool: the agent sends the message and confirms back in chat with full send details.
The outcome
A task that took 15 minutes now takes seconds. No sheets, no context switching, no copy-paste. The same pattern extends to follow-ups, onboarding sequences, and CRM updates.
This is one of the automation systems I build for teams that want to eliminate 20+ hours of repetitive work per week.
